I sometimes have some odd cravings for cakes..so lately, I dropped by the Secret Recipe and got myself a slice of Red Velvet cake to bring back home for dessert after dinner.

| Red Velvet Cake It was presented nicely in a recyclable paper box. The slice of cake was topped off with white cream cheese and a few layers of white cream cheese in between it, too. The texture of the cake was actually the normal moist cake. However, with the red colour & cheese cream, it somehow got me attracted to it like Casper the Ghost! wtf~ LOL! I'm not too sure where the red colouring source was from, but I did hear from a friend saying that the colour possibly come from beet root. Well, if it was from a natural colouring and NOT from artifical colouring, then it would be all good! Otherwise, it would be bad for the health, ya know, artificial colouring is equivalent to chemical toxic. |

In conclusion, the sweetness was just nice, not too cloying! However, if one were to eat this slice all alone, it might be quite filling, so it would be better to share it with your loved ones at home or sitting beside you cause sharing is caring! :-P ;-)
