Jackie's First Homebaked Shepherd's Pie (Chicken Filling)

So, a month back ago, I did try this new recipe out. :D


The overall ingredients to be prepared.
1. 3 small peeled n cut potatoes
2. Add water & 1 tsp of salt just enough to cover the potatoes n boil fr 15 min with a slow fire.

Cut potatoes placed into the pot.

3. Cut mushrooms into small pieces
4. Cut n minced chicken meat into small pieces
5. Fry the cut garlic, minced meat and add black pepper and mixed vege followed by the cut mushrooms
6. Add chicken stock cube and chilli sauce to taste n a bit of water.
7. Leave to cook fr 5 min with a lid.




8. Prepare aluminium mould, add fried mixed meat at the bottom and level it by pressing it down.


The fried minced meat placed n leveled onto the aluminium mould.


9. Drain off the additional water and add 1 tsp butter/margerine and 2 tbp of fresh fullcream milk and mash up the boiled potatoes.


The mashed potatoes.


10. Add the mashed potatoes on top of the leveled fried ingredients.
11. Add mozzarella cheese depending on choice.


The mashed potatoes n cheese placed n leveled on top of the fried minced meat.


12. Bake at oven preheat to 200 degree C fr ~40 min. 


Voila~  Jackie's Shepherd's Pie is ready to be served.

Verdict: looks not super satisfied but mommy says ho chiak, beh pai meaning very nice to eat and not bad! :D
