Hot Bowl for Famous Curry Noodle & Chicken Rice @ Abu Siti Lane, Penang: Moving to Rangoon Road in May 2014 Onwards

      Last weekend, I visited the so-called famous "white" (without the addition of chilli paste yet) curry noodle or curry mee shop. It is currently located at Abu Siti Lane, Penang.
However, we saw a red colour banner hanging directly just outside it's entrance saying that it will be moving to Rangoon Road (just a road next to it) soon.

They are movinggg soon~~

Over in Penang, this curry noodle is known as curry mee. But over in the southern of Malaysia (such as the Johor and Singapore), it is known as curry laksa.

I think this bowl of noodle is their smallest size.Therefore, one may not be able to find any shrimps in it. Usually, it is served with a couple of shrimps at other stalls. Caution with the chilli paste, it's really spicy even as one added in a nominal amount of it.

This is the side order. One could also order it with the plate of rice. I think the way to cook the chicken is by boiling. Anyway, the black sauce they made was superb to be eaten as a side dish or together as chicken rice. The cooked chicken was tender too, unlike at other chicken rice shops. 

Boiled Bean Sprout

This another side dish bean sprout wasn't overcooked. I seldom like to eat bean sprout, however, over at this shop, I won't turn down the offer to have some. One could also order this to eat it with your chicken rice. I guess the black sauce used was similar to the ones used for the deboned chicken.

Overall, I think this shop deserves my applause, and I think it's way better than our franchised Chicken Rice Shop IMO. I hope the quality and the quantity remain the same despite the rise of our current economy crisis.

Lastly, the total price for all this dishes was at RM23.20 including two cups of herbal tea.

I'm back!! First of all, I'll be blogging about what I had for lunch during the weekend.
I started off the day by eating Fried Ramen with Eel at Xuan Xin Ramen Restaurant at the Basement or Lower Ground Floor of Gurney Plaza. Ordered a starter, which was the Cheesy Crab Meat Rolls. It came with 3 rolls and I ordered a can of Herbal Tea to soothe my throat.
Due to the hot weather, I've been coughing like hell and had a really sore throat. However, currently the sore has been decreasing. I even finished up two bottles of the dry cough mixture and yet my cough still didn't heal. It's like wtf~ Such a rubbish cough mixture! LOL~

A friend of mine recommended me to actually try drinking warm Coca-Cola to heal the cough as it seems that it has the healing component as the cough mixture? Try google-ing "Coca-Cola for cough", there are really links to it. Whether to believe it or not, I do not know. :P
But, I took half a can of Pepsi instead and it was chilled at that time. I even added a pinch of salt. I found that my throat's itchiness was gone for a few hours. I wonder if it was because of my psychological prob. LMAO~  So, if you guys have any throat problem, feel free to try it.

After that, I had tea time at the Pacific Coffee. I will also showcase a couple of pictures of my outfit (the un-modelling look. wtf~ haha~ Not a model & therefore, don't know how to model lah)

(meagre eel meat, the ramen was really oily though & the food presentation didn't appear as what was illustrated as on the menu. Well, it was an illustration though, can't expect much, right? haha~)

Here comes the dinner time, we were not sure what to have. Finally, we decided on TGI Fridays! I think the last time I had was, when I was in KL back then.

Alphabets Song: Fun Time with ABC for Todlers

Hi y'all!
Recently, I found this ABC song via my lil' cute nephew who kept his eyes glued on this youtube link, over and over again. He even sang certain parts of it, though his speech is not that fluent yet as he is only going to turn 3 yrs old in a couple months time.
I find it really interesting & enjoyable, especially learning ABC in a fun, hiphop way~
I, myself sometimes felt like dancing to the song too. hehe~ ;-)

Therefore, I would like to recommend everyone with todlers in their house to allow them to watch this at home.
It's educational yet fun!

Miam Miam-licious {Revisited} @ Ground Floor, Gurney Paragon & Canton-i @ 1st Floor, Gurney Paragon: Weekend Chillin' Out

This time, I'm gonna do a new style of blogging, with a mixture of food blogging & a touch of fashion blogging (#ootd). Although, I consider myself on an average fashionable person, however, I do not like to show off what sort of fashion I'm wearing on blogs. :P
But, I'm not a super fashion-craze-person or like a model lahh~

Anyway, last weekend, we went to watch Captain America, The Winter Soldier. I didn't think I've watched the first movie though. But I kinda fell in love with him after watching Avengers. haha... wtf~~
I actually wanted to watch the normal class ticket, but then, when I went to buy the tix at random, and at the same time, it was coincided with the school holiday for the children (LOL)/ school kids and also, it was on a weekend too, so, there was no tix available for the whole afternoon, except for the first front row of the seats.
Anyway, since the idea was to watch this movie, I requested for a 3D tix instead, there were seats available, I guess that it was because the tix price for 3D is at a higher price than the normal class tix.
Anyway, had to freaking pay RM18 for 3D movie. Oklahhh, since we were watching hunky guy in action! ;)

After buying those tix, we went for a lunch makan at Miam Miam.

It tasted like fried rice with sausages and diced carrots. A taste of curry. However, not really my liking. I felt that the curry taste wasn't great enough. The curry taste was super mild imo, almost to nothing and so, it tasted not spicy enough.
Anyway, I prefer their dessert souffle instead, the one with some sweetness in it.

After lunch, we went for some shopping before it was time for a date with Chris Evan. ;-)
Btw, below is my own outfit of the day, camwhoring at the fitting room with my own outfit, "Jacfit" :-P.
One could see my flabby bicep arms. wtf~ I wish they were like the super model's. LMAO~

One piece black colour tube-like knee-length jumpsuit - by Miss Selfridge (this outfit made me look like a Genie in the bottle).
Therefore I was pairing my #ootd with a brandless handmade chapal slippers (Made in India). The handmade design looks pretty nice, however, the sole wasn't thick enough and so, I do not think it fit to be worn for long hours because it won't be good for the legs/ knees.

 Finally, to end the day, we had our dinner at Canton-i @ Gurney Paragon. Canton-i is a Chinese eatery selling authentic Shanghainese noodles & food. The waiters & waitresses dress up really smart and they were all wearing some headphone gadgets for communication. So advance & they look like spies! :P
