Day 01 of our Hong Kong trip has just started. Yayyyy~ It was Disneyland day today! Gonna go reliving my childhood moments ya :)
Woking up to this buzzing city of Mong Kok. Their cost of living is really expensive.
This kind of shabby packed apartment/ flat that is located at the heart of city places will somehow cost a HK family such very expensive price. :P
Therefore, don't be deceived by this kind of shabby outlook.
Hong Kong style breakfast which was provided by this Harbour Hotel. There were a few choices of sets to pick from. I picked the one with a ham, 2 sausages, an egg and a banana which were to be eaten together with 2 slices of bread. So healthyyyy~
(excuse mua...my photo angle is a bit unique ya. LOL)
Next, we walked to the nearby train station. Time to depart to Disneyland, the land of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Friends :D
Took the underground from Mong Kok to Lai King station. Got out and then interchanged to Sunny Bay station.
Scenery that we saw on our way :D
Blissful with skyscrapers and beautiful glistening sea.
Interchanging to Sunny Bay. Saw the mickey mouse ears? ;) That's the place we were going.
Awaiting for Mickey Mouse train to transfer us to Mickey Mouse dreamland. wheeeee~
Outfit of the day was with a Mickey Mouse pouch frm Standard 5 or 6..lol~
Interior of the Mickey Mouse train was fully decorated with the statues of Mickey and his friends. wowww~
Posing with the huge magician's hat.
Deserted. Everyone had already walked or rushed to the entrance area to purchase the tix.
On our way walking to the entrance area to queue. Beautiful Hawaiian scenery with palm-like coconut trees.
Mickey was actually surfing on top of the whale. haha~
The line was super duper long although we've reached there around 10.30am.
But the queue wasn't that long. Quite fast and professionally managed.
HKD539/pax (~RM306) for the entrance fee. Although it was so expensive but it was truly worth it as I could release out my stress and brought out the kiddy part of me (not sure bout him though but he seemed to be enjoying it though. haha. unless otherwise, then I wouldn't know). ;)
Have a magical day! ^_^
Reminded me of Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch from picture.
Could u see what was the pointy thang which was behind me?!?! Sleeping Beauty's castle!! :)
I'm here!
See what it says? ;)
By the end of the day, a story will always be......(you end it yourself...clue at the above pic). :*
:D
To recap, our first ride of the day was the Grizzly Bear roller coaster ride, nearby to this wanted kid area.
Then, off we went to watch The Lion King musical. Not bad. very nice, Although it was in both languages; English and Cantonese.
Posing with some statue along the way at the park.
(Hippogryph - A large, half-eagle half-horse, similar to a griffin)
Riding on a Magical ride to the dark monkey-monsieur carriage into some dark closet. Forgot what was it called exactly. But it was quite amazing. Along the ride, there was some animation story being shown that would glow in the dark. A bit scary though.
We saw a huge game controller at the Toy Story area.
We rode on this Parachute ride. Not so terrifying as there was a parachute to support our drop. But the queue was horrible accompanied with an Arab family who was cutting queue of ours and others by fooling us with their trick. We led them cut without realising it at first. However, we watched them cutting one after another, those ppl who were standing in front of us. *pity everyone of us*
Wheeee...the kid in me with a braided hair. *candid*
Waiting for our next ride.
The Slinky Dog Ride...wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Our break time. Prince Mickey held a huge Churro and a Vanilla sundae cone! *yummm*
The daytime parade: Flights of Fantasy
It was so darn enjoying! I bet one could really felt those happy moment. Even he himself agreed on this. You'll only have those happy feeling. No such sad moments.
Torts Car (i think). The place where I learned to drive a sports car. *peace* LOL~
All smilessss..*with Princess Aurora who was awaken up by the kiss of her Prince Charming* :*
4D Donald Duck opera animation. We had to wear a 3D specky. It was really nice! My first time in a 4D cinema that has special effects that would make you think that it would come to life. The smell of food, the gushing wind...and many more :D
They played a combination of those songs of those famous Disney cartoons. Reliving those childhood moments. yeahhhhh ~
Our quick dinner. Fish and Chips at Grizzly Gulch. *yumm* I think we were very hungry. We haven't really had proper lunch. Was just busy with all those rides and parade. haha.
The night view at Disneyland!
At the so called Main Street USA~
The night parade was almost starting at the allocated time.
So nice! Swarovski Sleeping Beauty Castle (if I were not mistaken).
I am dreamin' of living in a castle oh. ;)
Mickey Lollipop? :P
Night parade: The Little Mermaid
The Cinderella Carousel. Hmmm...no idea when did Cinderella had a carousel. hehe!
Anyway, I was enjoying my ride. Don't care if Cinderella's carousel truly existed though.
We went for this Tea Cup ride as well which went 360 degrees. *vomit*
We ended the time in Disneyland by watching those Fireworks moment shot up above the Sleeping Beauty Castle for around 15 to 30 min with some Disney memorable animation and songs being projected at the castle. So nice and it was truly a memorable moment. I didn't even think that I would really stepped into Disneyland so soon.
Next, I am targeting Disneyland and Universal Studio in US :D
On our way while we were walking out to the exit door (same entrance door where we came from), there were artificial snow that was falling down onto our head, face and body. Ohhh my, it was so Christmas-sy! :*
Best Christmas tree I've seen so far and accompanied with those magical moment throughout the day :*
To end our night, this was our supper. ;)
~End of Day 01~
