It's been awhile, however it will be a great #throwback to me <3 comment-3--="" nbsp="">3>
Anyway, here's a small part of the itinerary on where we stayed at and where we went in Venice! :)
Be warned, Venice is all about walkingggggg in its floating city. ^_^
We are about to reach the floating cityyyy by train! Amazing view~
Frecciabianca train, Coach 2.
We've reached Venice (Venezia Santa Lucia Station) by train (from Milano Centrale Railway Station, Milan).
Walked northwards to Guglie or the exit (just follow the crowds cause it is just around the corner. very very nearby~) and take Arancio blue line waterbus to Rialto Station (also known as Grand Canal area).
Venezia tourism Polizia :D
At the port before crossing over to the Grand Canal.
The Venezia view from the other side.
Saw the dark gloomy clouds coming our way?
The major mode of transportation in Venezia: Waterbus
Then we headed towards to search for our hotel for check-in. I guess there is no other mode or transportation when you're in the Venice area, other than by foot (walking). :P
We stayed in Hotel Antica Locanda Al Gambero for 2 nights. Hotel costed us, for the 3 ppl were GBP282 with a free breakfast for each of us and an unlimited wifi. I loved it. It felt and looked like a 4 star (****) hotel to me, though, the downside is just that, one gotta climb the steep steps to get to the allocated room. ;)

Our tidbits from Venezia :D
Our provided breakfast at the Hotel. Simple yet sophisticated strawberry pie that were provided too on the buffet spread. Looks so classy I tell you!
Spectacular view with glistening water & gondolas!
The view & I *peace*
The Venezia city area.
Rialto Bridge @ the Grand Canal
The Grand Canal overlooking the port area and gondola & gondolier!
Bridge of Sigh
There are 2 sides to the story (one for the prisoners & one for lovers) wink emoticon
It is believed that the view from the Bridge of Sighs was the last view of Venice that convicts saw before their imprisonment. The bridge name, given by Lord Byron as a translation from the Italian "Ponte dei sospiri" in the 19th century, comes from the suggestion that prisoners would sigh at their final view of beautiful Venice through the window before being taken down to their prisoner cells.
A local legend says that lovers will be granted eternal love and bliss if they kiss on a gondola at sunset under the Bridge of Sighs as the bells of St Mark's Campanile toll. So so so soooo....lo-man-tic. grin emoticon

Our gondolier during our gondola ride ...macho anot? ;)
Me at Piazza San Marco or also known as St. Mark's Square.
The gondolas at the port.
Jewelries made of glasses, Venezia's specialties~
Remarkable view from the top, Campanile @ St Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco)

The traditional Venetian dresses & masks during Carnival of Venice. One can't consider themselves as one who has visited Venice if they didn't drop by to have a great good look at the world famous for its traditional masks. hehe~
Venetian masks can be made of leather, porcelain or using the original glass technique.
The view at one of the alley. Woahhhh, so narrow!
Another tidbit that we tried tasting, Rose wine...quite cheap as in it was around Euro 4 to 6. Bought from a nearby mini market.
The food we sampled by the pier @ Grand Canal. It was the most delicious in Venice after we have tried at a few other restaurants. With Seafood Spaghetti and Salami Pizza, but they were quite on the high end. We suspected that because it was the the common area, touristy Venezia, and not hiding at some alley whereby not much people would frequent. Luckily, they were so tasty. Therefore, we had not much bad thing to comment on. :D
Catchy warning sign to you not to buy fake goods (Fake goods could kill), Venice, Italy
Therefore I would like to end this blog with a pic on the carnival mask & I. hehe~
Hope u guys enjoyed the pictures and do visit Venice one day as it is truly worth to visit before it sinks in the far far far future.
